Free Wills For NHS Staff

Fortis Law applaud the work the NHS are doing in light of the Coronavirus. To say thank you we would like to offer ALL NHS staff a FREE basic Will (no catches).

It’s a simple and straightforward procedure to get your Will. Simply complete the form below (which should take no more than 15 minutes) and click submit. We will then draft your Will and email you your Will which you can print and sign.

Don’t worry, we’re on hand every step of the way and if you have any questions, you can text, email or call a member of our friendly team. We will provide signing instructions too.

Once again, thank you for everything you’re doing to keep us safe!

We will normally need to contact you to check that we have understood your instructions correctly, however we wont use your data in any other way other than to produce your document. Please refer to our privacy policy for further details about we use (process) your data and how we work hard to keep your data safe.

Who is included and what do you get with a Fortis Law Will

Can I create a Will for my partner or spouse too?

Yes. Not a problem. The form allows you to do this.

What if I need additional help?

Our team are on hand to help. You can give us a call and we’ll talk you through it.

I work with the NHS under the current circumstances. Am I included in the offer?

Yes. Thank you for everything you’re doing!

What does the term basic Will mean?

If your Will is relatively straight forward (you have a modest or simple estate) then the information we collect on this form will allow us to draw up your Will. If you need more complex planning then a member of our team will happily call to discuss this. Where there is a need for trusts or Inheritance Tax planning and Wealth Protection, a simple Will is unlikely to be able to do this, but our experts can still support you?

Will my Will be legal?

Provided it’s signed and witness properly (according to the instructions we provide), then yes. It will be legally valid.

Is it drafted by a solicitor?

It is a common misconception that a Will needs to be drafted by a solicitor and in a study done in 2011 it was found that Wills produced by Professional Will Writers and those by Solicitors were no different in terms of quality. For peace of mind though, our Wills are drafted by Members of the Institute of Professional Will Writers or by STEP qualified team members and checked by our solicitor before it is sent to you?

Can I change my Will in the future?

Yes. We can support you with this.

Will you store my Will?

If you’d like us to store your Will, we can. We have a secure storage facility. When we store Wills, we first check that they have been signed correctly, we then scan and save a copy, send you a copy of your Will with a certificate of safe storage and register the location of the document with The National Will Register (Certainty). We charge a small annual fee for this service but it’s best to keep it safe.

Can you help me with Lasting Powers of Attorney?

We can, yes. If you would like assistance with this, please email hello@fortislaw.co.uk and we will arrange for a member of our friendly team to call and discuss this. Alternatively, call our office on 01543 747010.
